About the project
Progressive music grounded in emotion and atmosphere.
Mixolydian Dreamer, an art rock project started in 2021, utilizes heartbreaking lyrics and a dynamic sound to create a unique listening experience, as shown on the 2024 album "mending!".
The project out of New Jersey features collaborations with Michael Greulich, while blending progressive rock with modern indie influences.

My role
From songwriting to final production.
All of Mixolydian Dreamer's songs are written and produced by myself, with collaborations on the keys and synth parts. I record my parts at my home studio, using a Focusrite audio interface into either Reaper (for the first two albums) or Ableton Live (for my newer songs). I play a wide variety of instruments for the recordings, including guitar, bass guitar, drums, flute, violin, and harmonica. Once all of the parts are recorded, I mix them myself (with the exception of mending!) and have them mastered by a professional.
